The All Progressives Congress faction loyal to suspended National chairman Adams Oshomole and the Ajimobi group say they would not attend the NEC meeting scheduled for Thursday at the state house describing the meeting as illegal and unconstitutional.
In a statement signed by the Acting National chairman of the faction, Ntufam Hilliard Etagbo Eta and Acting National secretary, Waziri Bulama, the group said they believed the President was ill advised as they call on the President to avail himself with the facts of the matter.
Earlier Wednesday the President had said that Victor Giadom was the authentic Acting National Chairman of the party having been empowered by a Court of law to assume the duties of the National Chairman of the party.
