National Leader of All Progressives Congress APC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said that he has not made any decision regarding 2023 as the covid-19 and attendant economic problems are enough to think about.
In a statement he presented through his spokesman Tunde Rahman, the former governor of Lagos State expressed pity for those who are tieing the APC NEC’s decision to the end of his purported 2023 ambition saying they have already assigned colourful epitaphs to the 2023 death of an alleged political ambition that is not yet even born.
He said he has devoted the past few months to thinking of policies that may help the nation.
‘Those who seek to cast themselves as political Nostradamus are free to engage their energies. I trust the decerning public will give the views of such eager seers the scant weight such divinations warrant’ he said
Tinubu said that despite his investment he has no problem in making personal sacrifices as long as the party remains true to its progressive democratic creed.
He therefore urged fellow party members who feel aggrieved to accept the sacrifice they have been asked to make so that the party can assume the role of helping the government to lead the nation toward growth.
