Access has said that it will reverse deductions made from customers for stamp duty between Saturday and Sunday, the 27th and 28th of June .
In addition , the bank is to pay for stamp duty charge for February to April on behalf of the customers.
In a statement issued on Sunday ,the bank said its decision was informed by the tough times customers were facing.
The bank had debited small and medium enterprises for stamp duty that accumulated from February to April 2020 .
Customers were dissatisfied with the deductions and that made them to look in the direction of the media to complain.
The Bank charges N50 for stamp duty.
