Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has directed all staff of Government House Port Harcourt to undergo Covid-19 tests.
The Governor gave the directive in Government House, Port Harcourt when the Executive Director, BUA Foundation presented him with 3 ambulances to support the fight against covid-19.
This directive is contained in a statement signed by Commissioner for lnformation and Communications, Paulinus Nsirim.
The governor disclosed that more tests will be done to enable the government to quickly respond to covid-19cases in the state.
He explained that through testing more cases will rise and advised that people should not be ashamed of undergoing covid-19 testing as no fewer than 38 persons have died of covid-19 complications.
The Governor said he directed all staff of Government House to go for testing to ascertain asymptotic cases adding that the State is not relenting to save lives
