
Ogun State Police have arrested one Elijah Ayodeji for parading as a legal practitioner and using that to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
The Spokesman of the Ogun State Police Command ,DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi made this known in a statement in Abeokuta.
The Police Spokesman said that the suspected was arrested following petition to the command by a legal practitioner who accused the suspect for parading as a lawyer.
The legal practitioner said that the suspect never went to law school but has for sometime been parading as a lawyer and obtaining large sums of money from unsuspecting members of the public.
Following the report by he legal practitioner, a team of policemen investigate the matter and discovered that the suspect had swindled a woman in police custody of ₦300000 which he promised o use to secure her bail but never got her out.
