The House of Representative’s has adjourned plenary to next week following speciulations that 50 lawmakers may have tested positive for coronavirus and were still attending plenary.
The House bad resolved to meet once weekly as a result of the speedy transmission of the virus who have refused to make their status public.
Reports say Speaker Femi Gbajiabiamila announced adjournment of plenary to next shortly afer an executive meeting of this house which a source who preference anonymity said may not be in unconnected with the speculated report of some members testing positive for coronavirus.
The source disclosed that a great number of lawmakers in the red and green chambers have tested positive and some are very sick.
Covid-19 protocols on health are not taking very seriously as there is no water,soap and sanitiizers in strategic points including the restrooms the source said.
