A total of 473,137 graduates of N-Power BatchA and Batch B have expressed sadness over non payment of their 30,000 monthly stipend as
at when due.
Current matters gathered that since the transfer of the National Social Insurance Programme to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in October 2019, payment to beneficiaries has not been regular.
According to reports, the inability of the Ministry to pay their stipend had made most of them to utilize the social media to demand their payment.
They said it was not right for the Ministry to disengage them from the scheme without pay.
The N-Power Scheme is an initiative of the Federal Government aimed to create gainful employment of youths through skill development.
