Police have charged Moses Anyaoha and Tony Mba with 9 count charge bordering on culpable homicide,criminal conspiracy and stealing.
The police alleged that the two men between 2010 and January 2011 conspired to commit offence of culpable homicide contrary to section 96 of the penal code.
According to the prosecution counsel,, Peter Amadi, the defendants injected one DCP Augustina ihesiaba with poison, which caused her death.
Amadi alleged that Anyaoha stole N70million of the deceased money in various accounts while also disposing various plots of lands entrusted to him by the deceased
The defendant pleaded not guilty.
Justice Peter Kekemeke ordered the defendant to be remanded at the police facility at Garki Abuja until September 17, when the defendant’s bail application will be heard.
