Rivers State Police Command have arrested one Eremosele Mahmoud 47, who allegedly impregnated his 16 year old daughter.
Mahmoud,a single parent with three children is said to have serially taped his daughter for five years
The Force Police Command Public Relations Officer in Rivers State, Nnamdi Omoni said Mahmoud who is an indigene of Edo State but resides in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, have confessed to having canal knowledge of his daughter since she was 12years old.
Mahmoud according to the police had said that his lust to sexually assault his daughter was more of spiritual than physical saying that he is happy now that the public have found out about it and he is ready to face anything,
He said that he won’t support abortion because anything could happen to his daughter and urged the authorities to take care and that whatever they decided is good for him, even if he goes to prison, at least he would be happy because he is free.
His daughter in her narrative said that the father started sleeping with her since she was 12years old and when she tried to stop him, he would say her mates were doing, and she should know that she is grown already.She explained that if she refused him, he would threaten to stop buying her things and paying her school fees and that was why it continued till he got her pregnant.
