The Peoples Democratic party PDP says the rising cases of insecurity in the country suggested the absence of governance noting that the government has done very little to assuage the fears of Nigerians.
National Chairman of the PDP, Uche secondus made the statement on Friday during a Press Briefing of the Party in Abuja
He said that the PDP as an opposition party had helplessly screamed to draw the attention of the government to the spate of insecurity in the country but “it is becoming very clear to all that the ears we are targeting are deaf”adding that no attempt was being made to arrest the problem of insecurity in the land.
“Nothing establishes the fact that there is no governmenance in our country more than the worsening state of insecurity. Both the Military and political leaders of our country now land are now helpless.

“The free for all corruption going on all over the country leaves us with the impression that the country is dying..It is frightening,it is very disheartening that as the looting and relooting going on,no serious reaction is coming from the government
“Rather than confront the already exposed corruption cases, the government deliberately takes cautious step to play it down”. He said
The PDP said in the face of what it described as “total collapse” the President should resgn as required by law.
