The Senator representing Borno South,Ali Ndume has kicked against the move by the Federal Government to reintegrate repentant Boko Haram terrorists into the community.
Ndume who expressed dismay about the federal government’s decision on Channels Television said he is opposed to the move because of the killing still going on by the Terrorists.
He said releasing the repentant terrorists into the society would further exacerbate the acts of terrorism as it would encourage more people to join the terrorist group.
“When our people are living in camps, then you’re training people (repentant terrorists) and giving them money for start up? You’re just telling them to go and join Boko Haram, then go and repent and be something.
He said “ It is when you win the war that people surrender that you will think about that integration into the communities. You keep them somewhere,go to America Guantanamo Bay, for how many years some people suspected to be Talibans or terrorists being detained there”.
