A Pastor has been shot dead by a hunter at Amoso community ,Afikpo South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State..
The Man of God identified as Kenneth, presiding pastor of Reapers Triumph Church was said to have gone to settle a quarrel between the hunter and his wife when he was shot dead.
According to reports, the hunter who goes by the name “Uka” equally shot 4 more people who came to separate the fight but none of them died except the pastor.
It was gathered that trouble started when Uka returned from hunting with a bush meat, which he planned to sell to raise money for the family upkeep, but his wife cooked the meat despite his warning and this infuriated him and they started quarreling.His mother in-law who stays with them raised an alarm when the hunter brought out his gun and threatened to shoot her for supporting her daughter,her screams attracted neighbours including the pastor who came out to separate the fighting couple but the furiiou hunter pulled the trigger and the pastor reportedly died on the spot.
