Chinese authorities in Shenzhen said they found traces of coronavirus on frozen chicken wings imported from Brazil.
.In a statement on WeChat on Thursday, the authorities revealed that the surface of a sample of the imported chicken wings tested positive for the virus.

The city”s Epidemic Prevention and Control office organised nucleic acid testing for everyone who may have been exposed to the products adding that the results came back negative.
Reports say China recently began screening all meat and sea foods coming into the country”s major ports and intensified screening after an outbreak of coronavirus in Beijing in June was linked to the city’s Xinfadi wholesale food market.
The first outbreak of the virus in December 2019, was linked to the Wet market known as Huanuan sea foods wholesale market in the central city of Wuhan.
