A ritual killer, identified as Ukpai Eke,who kills for the founder of the Church of Satan in Ohafia,Ifekwe Udo,AKA Fada Fada has been arrested by security operatives.
Ukpai who hails from Biakpan in Cross Rivers State was said to have killed one Ime Odo,a native of Ohafia in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.
The suspect was reportedly on the wanted list in the murder case of Ime Odo,who was killed on July 25. It was gathered that Ukpai was apprehended by security agents on August 13,2020.
He was said to have confessed to the murder and disclosed that he was on the payroll of Ifekwe Udo,” Lucifer”
The suspect further confessed how he engaged the services of the late Ime Odo,a motorcyclist and took him to Ukaw,a neighbouring community between Ohafia Local Government Area and Ukwa Mbianbong in Cross Rivers State.
That was where he and members of his gang murdered Ime Odo with an axe and made away with his motorcycle,which the victim got on hire purchase and was meant to complete the payment in two weeks time to his employer,Mr Ifekwe Udo,he said.
According to the killer, the practice of killing those who have bought motorcycles on hire purchase basis has been on for long.
He said motorcycles of such victims are returned to their boss, Ifekwe Udo,who will refurbish and sell the motorcycles to unsuspecting buyers as new.ones.
Ukpai said it was not the first time he would kill as he and gang members scattered around Ohafia and its envrons have been on the business of killing innocent people.
Investigation into the criminal act is still ongoing to fish out other members of the gang
