Federal Government says it has watched the painful videos of Nigerians living and doing business in Ghana is taking urgent steps to resolve the issue.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyema made this known in his Twitter handle on Monday.
A video of locking up of Nigerian shops by Ghanaian authorities went viral last week over failure to pay the Ghana Investment Promotion Council GIPC registration.which is about$1million minimum foreign equity while registration fee is 31,500 cedis.
The video had an unidentified Nigerian claiming he had paid his levies many times and payment is up to date,yet they locked up his shop.
Meanwhile the Executive Director of the Nigerian Traders Union in Ghana,Kacey Ogbonna has warned that if the Ghanaian authorities continue to attack Nigerians who own businesses,there would be a reprisal in Nigeria soon.
