Sunday Shodipe,suspected serial killer of Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State, has revealed how he escaped from police custody.
The suspect confessed that he dd not have the mind to escape but conceived the plan after a female Divisional Police Officer who was recently deployed to the station ordered a police officer (Funsho)who was on duty to allow him to have his bath seeing he was dirty.
He said before the Officer,Funsho allowed him to bathe, he warned him not to try to escape and that at the time the officer warned him,he didn’t have the mind to escape.
However, while he was taking his bath,he saw that Funsho was deep in discussion with another colleague of his who was on duty.and when he noticed that, he found his way outside the station.
The suspect said when he noticed that the officer was still talking to his colleague,he climbed the borehole pole beside the place he was bathing and jumped over the fence and escaped.
After he jumped down, the people in the area saw him but didn’t raise any alarm.
