Popular Radio Presenter, Ifedayo Olarinde AKA “Daddy Freeze” and his mother are planning to sue the Founder of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie separately over verbal attack on the duo in a video that went viral last week.That is if the pentecostal pastor failed to retract his comments and offer unreserved apology to mother and son.
In the said video, Ibiyeomie had claimed that Freeze was born on a ship to a Somalian thereby questioning his paternity and deliberately exposing him to ridicle.
The pastor had in the video said” That half caste who is born by a Somalian? The day I hear him insult Oyedepo, I’ll deal with him, Oyedepo may not talk,but I can’t be alive and you’d insult my father.I can’t take it .I’ll tear you to pieces, bastard.People who have fathers don’ t insult fathers .He is insulting him because he has no father.Does he look like a Nigerian” Somebody they gave birth to on the ship”
He continued” ” I curse the day he was born.Tell him, this should be the last time he would talk about Oyedepo,A man who is not married, he has no wife. He can’t take care of his home, but he is coming to talk on TV.If he has one,let him show us his father.Somebody that is a broadcaster,does he have a good job?l will never be alive to see someone insult my father,You are not born! I will kill , arrest him.”
Daddy Freeze in response also in a video said he was devastated by Ibiyeomie’s attack on him and asked members of the public to hold the pastor responsible should anything happens to him.
He disclosed that his father is Yoruba while his mother is Romanian.
Freeze and his mother who is a Professor of Law are said to have contacted renowned lawyer,Lateef Fagbemi on the issue as reports indicate that many top lawyers are prepared to take on the case free of charge.
Daddy Freeze leader of the Free the Sheepie Movement had been a thorn in the flesh of pentecostal church leaders including Oyedepo Founder of Living Faith Church (Winners chapel) of recent on issues including payment of tithe.
