A woman suspected to be a ritualistl,has reportedly slaughtered a 7 year -old girl in Jos Museum, Plateau State.
The victim,Juwairiya and her elder sister, Fatima were said to be hawking brooms on Saturday, September 5 when they were reportedly approached by a woman who pretended as if she wanted to buy brooms from them.
According to reports, the woman asked them to give her a broom free of charge but they refused. Suddenly she touched their heads and they found themselves in a hut in Jos Museum.
Fatima who gave account of the incident said, when she opened her eyes she found the elderly woman slaughtering Jumairiya while she (Fatima) managed to escape.
Amina said, she ran looking for help and met a man reading a newspaper whom she narrated her ordeal to, but when they got back to the hut, the old woman had disappeared. The man who assisted her then rushed to the nearest police station and reported the matter to the police who arrived the scene of the incident and took away the corpse to Plateau State General Hospital.
She added “the strange thing is that ,my sister was slaughtered, but there was no trace of her blood on the ground or her body.”
