The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC , Ilorin Zonal Office, has arrested two lecturers ,Abdullahi Opashola,and Adebisi Ademola of the Kwara State College of Health Technology,Offa and twenty-eight others over allegations of internet fraud.
The 28 others are Kingsley Essien,Tobiloba Adenuga,Tope Ayodele, Rasheed Mujib, Oladipo Opeyemi, Saadu Muktar,Oladejo Hammed, Hammed Tope, Amaechi Umenyi,Saludeen Adam and Afolabi Gafar.
Others are Oladimeji Timi,Remilekun Adeolu,Audu John, David Momodu, Abdulkareem Samad,Adebiyi Sodiq,Dawodu Olusoji,Yusuf Amoo,Kehinde Olarenwaju, Philip Mike, Ademola Adebukola and Adeniyi Olamilekan.
Adeyemi Adedeji Ajayi Teslem, Olawale Oladayo,Olasunkanmi Olawale and Adeleke Damilola were also among those arrested.
The suspects were arrested at different locations in the state following intelligence gathered by operatives of the Commission
A herbalist said to be involved in the offence is being hunted for arrest by the commission.
The Head of Media and Publicity of the Commission, Wilson Uwujaren ,said Investigation was still ongoing adding that they would be arraigned as soon as Investigation is concluded.
Itens recovered from the suspects include cars, phones, and laptops .
