The Lagos State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic party PDP, has issued a 7 day ultimatum to the former governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose, within which to retract and apologise for the disparaging remarks on all her elderly chieftains in the state chapter of the state.
The Party said if Fayose failed to apologise, he will be declared persona non grata in all indoors and outdoors activities from Monday, October 12 ,2020.
The former governor had last week in Lagos said a former National Chairman of the party,Chief Olabode George was responsible for the party’s loss in elections in the state.
The party said its initial impression of Fayose’ attack on winning elections has changed as the second opinion about him enabled it to sympathise with ” his early senility and self inflicted imbecility as well as praying ” to save him from lively suicide out of obvious depression and frustration”
Describing Fayose as” a disgrace and negative role model for the younger ones,” the Lagos PDP also referred to him as a sadist, and agent provocateur in politics,especially, inimical to the advancement of the South West Region.
The party said at a time when collective efforts were needed to galvanise the party into victory in 2023, Fayose would go to Lagos and divide the party rather than give advise that should unite members adding”We will hold Fayose responsible for any future election loss in Lagos State and Indeed the South West”
