In continuation of vandalising and looting of public and private properties, Youths have invaded the Jos residence of former Speaker, Yakubu Dogara .
The hoodlims reportedly broke into the house on Sunday morning to cart away properties of the lawmaker inspite of the 24 hour curfew imposed by the state government.
The invasion of Dogara’s residence comes barely 24 hours after hoodlums attacked a warehouse stocked with Covid-19 palliatives in Bukuru in the state capital.
In Calabar, capital of Cross Rivers State, the level of destruction on Saturday in the city by irate youths made many Nigerians develop fear of the unknown.
Current matters conducted gathered that the hoodlums vandalised numerous public buildings including NTA,, The Chronicles,NDDC, Hospitals,WAEC, Garment Industry, homes of former and serving Senators and others without security operatives stopping the rampaging youths.
A Calabar resident told current matters that the violence might have been initiated and carried out by non indigenes as she argued that no indigene of the state could perfect such acts.
“We know that there are bad boys, there are cultists,but I don’t think that this thing that happened today was carried out by indigenes.
In Oyo state, the home of Senator Teslim Folarin was attacked and motorcycles and other empowerment items for his constituents were carted away.
In Ilorin ,Kwara State, the story is the same, the youths in hundreds looted warehouses with the security pleading with them to go and take what they want peacefully.
The fear of the Youths and vulnerables is fast becoming the beginning of wisdom for politicians and businessmen and women.
