EndSARS protest resurfces in Osun, protesters demand review of Judicial panel of Inquiry
Protesters under the aegis of#EndSARS protest on Monday, took to the streets in Ile Ife, Osun State to demand immediate review of the Judicial panel of inquiry constituted by the State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola.
The yourhs who described the panel as fraudulent noted that the government had embarked on series of propaganda to silence the protesters.
The Spokesman for the group, Olawale Adebayo accused the Commissioner of Youths and Sports in the state Yomi Lawal, for recruiting into the panel, faceless youths who never identified with the protest against police brutality and bad governance .
He called for the sack of Lawal and said the Commissioner should be held accountable for any violence that may arise as a result of his actions
The Youth spokesman alleged that the composition of the panel is politically motivated and does not reflect the views and position of the #EndSARS protesters adding that it aimed to cover up attrocities perpetrated by the government.
