The United States has commended Dr Onyema Ogbuagu, Nigerian medical doctor for helping to develop Covid-19 vaccine in America.
The United States Embassy in Nigeria made this known in a tweet on Monday.

Dr Ogbuagu is an associate professor of medicine at Yale University.He is currently a leading researcher at Pfizer for a Covid-19 vaccine in the United States and had been the Director of the Yale AIDS Clinical trials program.
Pfizer had recently announced that it has developed a vaccine with 95% efficacy a development that was lauded as a major breakthrough in the search for solution to the Covid-19 pandemic which has claimed the lives of over 257,000 Americans.
Ogbuagu has also dismissed misconceptions about the vaccine as he stated that misinformation about COVID-19 pandemic may lead to loss of lives.
