The Oluifon of Ifon in Ose local government ,Oba Israel Adeusi has been shot dead.
The first class traditional ruler was killed by gunmen suspected to be Kidnappers at about 5:50pm on Thursday, near Elegbaka village along the Benin – Akure highway while returning from a meeting in Akure
He was reportedly rushed to a private hospital where he was confirmed dead.
It was learnt that the kidnappers also abducted two persons at the same spot the monarch was attacked.
Reacting to the incident, the Spokesman of the Ondo State Police Command,Tee-Leo Ikoro, said all Police Divisions within the Ondo North axis have been mobilised to apprehend the perpetrators.
