Britain has commenced mass immunization of citizens beginning with priority groups including the elderly and Health workers.
A 90- year-old woman, Margaret Keenan becomes the first in the world to receive the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.
Keenan as early as 06:31 GMT received the vaccine at her local hospital in Conventry, Central England on Tuesday morning.

The United Kingdom had only last week, announced that it would begin mass vaccination of citizens this week after it had taken delivery of the Pfizer vaccine .
By rolling out the vaccine for immediate immunization of its citizens, the UK becomes the first country in the world to do so.
The UK has a covid death toll of over 61 thousand and Prime Minister, Boris Johnson had imposed a second lockdown on October 31 ,2020, which was lifted on December 2,2020.
Meanwhile, the United States Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) is expected to give emergency approval on Thursday, for roll out of the Pfizer/BioNTech and vaccine for immediate benefit of the citizens as over a thousand deaths are being recorded in the U.S every day.
