
The Bishop, Diocese of Okrika, Right Reverend Enoch Atuboyedia has commended the renewed urban development efforts of the present Administration in Rivers state.
Bishop Atuboyedia noted with satisfaction that the on going construction of fly over projects in Port Harcourt and other projects outside the state capital are included in the state’s 2021 budget.
The Bishop lauded the State Governor, Nyesom Wike for including Okrika Grammar School owned by the Diocese in the 2021 budget and said the Diocese is ready to partner with Government to uplift the quality of education in the state,
In line with this, the Diocese has set up a technical Committee that would engage the government functionaries on the project.

Revd. Atuboyedia who was speaking at a One Day Seminar on the new Vision of the Diocese held at Oripirisam House Sir Lawrence Nemi Foundation, Amadi Ama ,Port Harcourt. urged members of the Diocese to key into the new vision of the diocese aimed at reviving the church.
He, explained that the vision was aimed at making more disciples for Christ through the use of modern communication tools.
and assured that his administration would consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor and break new grounds to take the gospel to all nooks and crannies of the Diocese.

The seminar which attracted dignitaries and resource persons within and outside the Diocese, Archdeacons, members of the Diocesan communications and protocol/logistics teams has as its theme “The Reign of God’s Glory: Achieving the vision of the Diocese of Okrika through communications and protocol/ logistics functions.
