The United States Congress has released final statement of Trump’s impeachment on Wednesday at the Capitol Disqualifying the President from holding any Office of trust and honour in the country.
The statement released on Tuesday evening, disclosed that Trump’s conduct does suggest that he will be a threat to national security, democracy and the rule of law if allowed to remain in office.
The statement reads,
“Wherefore, Donald John Trump’s,by such conduct,has demonstrates that he will remain a threat to national security, democracy, and the constitution if. allowed to remain in office, and has acted in a manner grossly incompatible with self-governance and the rule of law. Donald John Trump thus warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor,trust,or profit under the United States”
Meanwhile, Corporate Organisations and Sponsors of GOP Senators and Members of Congress have withdrawn support for Trump and those who supported the overturn of the presidential election.
Shortly afterwards,Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell said Trump’s conduct was impeachable and he is open to removal of the President from office.
The impeachment of the President gains momentum as more GOP Senators and House of Representatives members have indicated to vote for Trump’s impeachment.
The House presented the article of impeachment on Monday following the violent attack of the Capitol Hill by supporters of Trump
Five people reportedly lost their lives including a Police officer who was brutally hacked by the attackers.
