Bishop Atuboyedia of Okrika Diocese has urged Nigerian youths to make
a difference in society.
In a sermon at a special service to establish a Youth Church, held at the multipurpose hall of Okrika Grammar School today January 17, 2021, Rt. Revd Atuboyedia said he had a revelation to open the church during a visit to a small church at Orubo Ama, Okrika on 31st December 2020.
The theme of the sermon was “Making the difference ” taken from 1 Samuel Chapter 3:1-4.
Rt. Revd. Atuboyedia enjoined Nigerian youths to make a difference in their generation. He noted that today, everything has gone wrong in the society pointing out that the system and the leadership cannot be trusted again.
According to him,there is sin, iniquity, insecurity, armed robbery, kidnapping and corruption everywhere but said the youths can make a difference given that
God is looking for youths who can change the narrative. “This church has started today, so that we can become a holy influence in this generation”, he added.
