Joe Biden has been sworn in as the 46th President of the United States.
Biden on Wednesday, at the Capitol Hill,took oath under the guidance of Justice John Roberts, to defend the constitution, democracy and America
Biden said it is time for boldness as there is so much to do to resolve tough challenges which he identified as raging violence, systemic racism, , growing inequity and climate issues
He said such problems are the greatest challenges the administration has but expressed optimism of t rising up to them and ” we will muster this very difficult hour”.
Biden said agreement was normal but should not lead to disunity and restated his call for all Americans to unite as” we willl judged how we resolve the cascades of the crisis in our era “.
He promised to give his all to the service of America and sued for support which he believed would engender the writing of the next great chapter of the American story.” Together we shall write an American story of hope not fear, of unity not division, of light not darkness, of dignity and decency, love and healing greatness and goodness,May this be the story that guides us, that inspires us”
The 46th President has already gone to the oval office to kickstart the business of governance as he tweeted , there is no time to waste..
