Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule on Friday, met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential villa over the alarming security situation in the state
The governor who spoke to State House Correspondents after the meeting said insurgents earlier forced out by security agencies have returned and settled around the Nasarawa -Benue border from where they launch atracks on residents.
Sule identified the insurgents terrorising the state as members of Darussalam group that were dislodged from Niger state.
He disclosed that a lot of the insurgents were killed and many arrested during a joint security offensive in the area.
