Cattle breeders Organisation,Miyetti Allah has reiterated its position that its members will not honour the 7 day eviction notice given to herdsmen in Ondo forests and bushes as the deadline approaches.
The National President of the Organization,Kautal Hore,Bello Abdullahi Bodejo said no power can remove them from the forests because they have been there for over 250 years.
The leader of the Organization according to the Sun ,claimed that all land belong to them as they settle in thick forest no matter how’ uninhabitable’ the place is and after the area had been fertilised with their cow dungs, the locals will encroach on the land and start farming and then blame the fulanis for allowing their cows to eat up their crops
He denied fulanis involvement in kidnapping and killing saying criminal elements who dress in fulani attire are responsible for the spate of Insecurity in the state.
Bodejo called on the governor to carry out a thorough investigation to ascertain the real criminals and not use the security issues as smokescreen to vacate the fulanis even as he maintained his position that the fulanis will not budge an inch.
This is not the first time the Miyetti Allah will claim ownership of Nigeria.
In June,2020, Bodejo had claimed that the fulanis founded and owned Nigeria and will rule forever.
Speaking to a National daily,Bodejo said that the herdsmen need not to take permission from anyone to settle wherever they want to settle adding that the association had concluded plans to launch its own security outfit of 5000-100,000 persons who would be deployed across states of Nigeria.
