The Edo Police Command has arrested five kidnap suspects in Ahon community bushes along the Benin-Lagos road.
The Commissioner of Police, Philip Ogbadu disclosed this when he paid a courtesy visit on Mr George Edem, Commandant, Nigeriian Security and Civil Defence Corps! (NSCDC) at the corps Command headquarters,in Benin.
Ogbadu said that the arrest followed a bush combing on Wednesday, after the command received a distress call from the area.
He stressed the need for cooperation of sister agencies for the good of Edo state
The Police Commissioner noted that after” the#EndSARS, morale of people have become low,but we need to inject” it he said.
In his response,Edem said that the NSCDC command in the state would work with the police to ensure a more secured Edo.
