Faisal Maina,son of former Chairman of defunct Pension Reformed Task Force has jumped bail a second time and has fled to the United States of America.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC Counsel, Mohamed Abubakar made this known to a Federal High court in Abuja on Thursday.
Abubakar told Justice Okon Abang that from the information at the disposal of the EFCC, Faisal fled to the United States through the Republic of Niger.
Justice Abang had earlier on Thursday, ordered Faisal’s surety,Sani Dan- Galadima who represents Kaura- Namoda Federal Constituency of Zamfara State in the House of Representatives, to forfeit a property used as a bail bond.
Faisal was granted a N60 million bail with a surety in the like sum who must be a serving member of the House of Representatives.
He is standing trial for alleged money laundering.And like his father, Faisal jumped bail last year and was rearrested in Niger Republic to face the charges preferred against him by the EFCC.
