Punch Newspaper Journalist, Okechukwu Nnodim, abducted on February.3 with two others at their houses in Kubwa , Abuja has been released.
Nnodim’s wife,Mrs Oluchi Nnodim who confirmed his release to newsmen on Sunday morning said her husband was released at midnight on Saturday.
She said her husband was released with two other boys thet were abducted with him.
Mrs Nnodim thanked everyone who contributed in securing the release of her husband for their efforts and prayed God to reward them.
Nnodim and two others were with their captors for three days. The kidnappers were said to have fired gun shots and forced their way into their apartments.
The gunmen took Nnodim and the others away after demanding cash which was not readily made available to them and reportedly demanded a ransom of N10million for the release of Nnodim.
