The All Progressives Congress APC on Tuesday, added two new members to its flock in the House of Representatives following irreconcilable leadership differences in their previous political parties.
The two new members are Blessing Onuh, member representing Oturkpo/ Ohimini Federal Constituency of Benue and Yakubu Abdullahi member representing Bauchi Federal Constituency.
The Speaker,Femi Gbajabiamala read the two separate letters at Tuesday’s plenary informing members that they were leaving the platforms that sponsored their elections as a result of crisis at all levels of the parties
Onuh, daughter of former Senate President, David Mark, said she decided to join the APC because of leadership crisis at all levels of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA and that the decision to leave the party was taken after due consultation with her constituents.
Abdullahi on his part said his decision to join the APC and part ways with the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP),, followed the leadership crisis in the PRP as two chairmen emerged at the national and state levels, all laying claims to the chairmanship of the party with two separate headquarters.
Abdullahi said the crisis in the party was ridden by litigation adding that one of the factions of the party in Bauchi state even wrote him a letter suspending him from the party .
