President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Dr Orji Ogbonnaya Orji as Executive Secretary of the Nigeriian Extractive Industries Initiative.(NEITI)
Orji’s appointment followed the expiration of the tenure of the immediate past Secretary,Wasio Adio.
Until his new appointment ,Orji was the Director of Communications and Advocacy of NEITI.
A statement by the Director of Information in the Office of the Secretary to the Governmentt of the Federation,Mr Willie Basset, said the new appointment which takes effect on Friday, February 19,2021 is for a period of five years and was done in accordance with the provisions of the NEITI Act.
