The Nigeriian AirForce has released the names of the seven personnel who died in its Beechcraft King Air B350 plane crash.
The Air Force in a statement issued by its Spokesman, Ibikunle Daramola said the officers are Flight Lieutenant Haruna Gadzama,( Captain) Flight Lieutenant Henry Piyo (Co- pilot) Flying Officer Michael Okpara ( Airborne Tactical Observation System specialist and Warrant Officer, Bassey Etim (A TOS specialist).
Others are Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi (ATOS specialist) Sergeant Ugochukwu Oluka ( ATOS specialist) and Aircraftman Adewale Johnson ( Outboard technician).
The ill-fated aircraft plunged into an area close to the runway at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Sunday afternoon , and crashed after report of engine failure killing all seven personnel on board.
Eye wutness around the scene of the crash said the pilot manouvred the plane in such a manner to save lives but unfortunately crashed without survivors.
It was gathered that the plane was on a surveillance mission in the bandit held area of Niger state before the crash.
Some Nigerians who reacted to the news and names of those involved, have alleged sabotage and called on governmentt to immediately move to action to get to the cause of the crash
In line with this,,Daramola in the wake of the crash, said the Chief of Air Staff Air Vice Marshall Oladayo Amao has ordered a probe into the accident.
