Fourteen aides of Senator Rochas Anayo Okorocha were on Monday ,arraigned before Imo Magistrate Court 4, Owerri presided over by B.U Adikaibe on a seven count charge bordering on conspiracy, threats to the security of the state and destruction of government seal at Royal Palm Estate, Owerri on Sunday.
In Monday’s proceedings, the counsel for the defendants, Eddy Onyema filed a bail application which was granted by the Magistrate in the sum of N5 million each with a surety who must be a traditional ruler of the state or a member of his cabinet
The Royal Palm Estate is linked to the wife of Okorocha under whose tenure as governor, the property was illegally ,allegedly developed.
