The General Overseer of the Port Harcourt based Omega Power Ministries (OPM) Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has awarded scholarship to some members of the church for training in Poland.
Chinyere who disclosed this via his Facebook page on Saturday 27 February, 2021 was also captured in photo with the students departing for Poland all dressed in white
Current matters learnt that this would not be the first time the man of God would engage in training aspect of philanthropy as he had sent many of his members to South Africa,Turkey, Poland and other to acquire training in different fields of endeavor.
The man of God said he converted the tithe offering given to him by his congregation to help people in need .
The Apostle’s kind gesture attracted some reactions on Sunday.
Nyingi, a woman who was a guest to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, said she saw with her eyes how two OPM members on the directive of the general overseer, “brought a sick woman to the hospital and paid all bills for treatment including surgery.
“The Man is doing a good work. I wish all those pastors who own churches would follow the OPM Man who has no private jet but helping poor people.
“Some of the big churches who have colleges and universities, the fees are so high that most of the members cannot afford it, and I haven’t heard that they have sent children of members abroad for training”. She said
