Some Youths from the South East region under the aegis of Concerned Youths have vowed to stop food trucks coming into the region from the northern part of the country saying they want their “region to sustain itself .”
The group said the region does not need any food supplies from the north as it had enough to feed itself and other zones around it.
A member of the group , George Eziokwu told newsmen that the South East and South-South produce the oil that has sustained the country so far and warned that any further comments from northern youths or other groups that undermine the existence of the people of the zone would compel them to take any action they might deem necessary.
