The Benue State Government has placed N5million bounty on any useful information that would lead to the arrest of the killers of Dr Terkura Suswam.
Governor Samuel Ortom disclosed this to newsmen after the Executive Security Council meeting in Makurdi on Thursday.
Suswam , immediate elder brother to a former governor of Benue State and serving senator, Gabriel Suswam was killed along with his aide,Mr Solomon Utanor on Monday evening in front of Elohim Plaza, beside Ashi Polytechnic located opposite his residence in Anyim,Logo Local Government Area of the state.
Ortom said the council condemned the assassination of Suswam and resolved” to do everything possible to ensure that the killers are brought to book.
“The council has also declared total war on criminal elements not just those who assassinated out brother,Terkura Suswam but against all bandits and other criminals” he said.
“The security agencies have assured that they will go after them and by the grace of God apprehend them” he said.
