The wife of the Minister of Transportation,Dame Judith Amaechi has described her aide, Comfort Onongo as an epitome of beauty and peace.with sense of dedication to duty.
Amaechi who spoke at the wedding ceremony of Mr Alfred and Mrs Comfort Onongo at the Church of Annunciation parish,Kpaduma, Guzape District,said she had no doubt that Mrs Onongo would make a good wife and bear wonderful children that would bring joy and happiness to her husband whom she noted was full of love and care for his spouse..
She advised the couple to make God as the first decision in their marriage citing Mathew 19,26 saying” With God all things are possible.
Amaechi urged the husband to love his wife in accordance with the scripture, adding that having married, his wife becomes his first priority.
” I want to say to you that from today henceforth,no other woman is important, no other woman is more beautiful,more sensitive and more understanding than this woman.
” If you love her with all your heart, and open your system to her, everything you’ve looking for,both money, position,you will have it.He who findeth a wife,obtaineth favour from the lord. And the lord is able to keep his word from the beginning to the end.
She urged the woman to respect her husband and enjoined both to love one another and do away with issues which rather than add value to their marriage, attempt to taint the foundation.
At the cutting of the wedding cake , Amaechi said the colours of the cake,meant so much to her,
According to her, the White symbolised Purity while the Purple represented Royalty which she stressed their union embodied.
And on behalf of her husband, Rt Hon, Rotimi Amaechi she prayed that God will bless their marriage.
