Three persons lost their lives during a clash by rival cult groups in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital on Thursday.
The victims were shot dead at the busy Sangana street,in Mile one Diobu Port Harcourt.
A source who claimed to be in the neighborhood when the guns boomed, said the cultists numbering about 7 stormed the street in search of rival cult member shooting in an operation which lasted about an hour.
It was yet to be established as at press time if the deceased were members of rival cult groups or innocent victims.
The three corpses were reportedly evacuated by security operatives attached to the Mile one police station.
The latest incident is coming afer similar cult clashes said to be perpetrated by the Icelanders and Greenlaers in Andoni and Khana Local Government Areas which equally claimed scores of lives.
