As the death toll on Covid-19 mounts and cases surge across India, most Hindus have thrown their idols away on the streets saying they ( idols) lacked the power to protect them from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Statistics showed that no fewer than 4000 persons die daily of Covid-19 pandemic with many blaming the government of Prime Minister,Narendra Modi of doing little to help the situation.
Presently,there is shortage of medicine, oxygen and bedspaces from New Delhi to the remote areas of the country.Some sick residents lie in their verandas and floor to see if help would come their way.
