The Nigerian Correctional Service, Rivers State command has promoted over hundred officers to higher rank positions.
The Controller of Rivers State Correctional Service, Alex Azita while decorating the newly promoted officers charged them to uphold service ethics in the discharge of their duties .
Azita said their new positions requires more determination and dedication to meet up their new offices.
He also advised other officers who have attained promotion level but are yet to be promoted not to relent in hard work.
The Rivers Correctional service boss explained that promotion of some officers were delayed due to inadequate vacancies in the agency.
He encouraged them to continue in their stewardship pending when they will be elevated to new ranks.
