Subscribers to an Online digital company, Oasis Technical Nigeria Limited, have petitioned the Chief Executive Officer, Mr David Brian, over financial scam running into several millions of Naira.
Brian, who claimed to be a Pastor in a new generation Church in Mararaba, outskirts of Abuja, set up the company with the intention of helping the needy through digital marketing of paying subscribers daily.
Investigations show that Brian launched the company with fanfare in March, 2021, and three weeks into the operation, he was no longer honouring the commitment.
Sums ranging from N20k to 1million Naira were collected through bank deposit to UBA account.
The Ponzi scheme operator also claimed to be partnering with MTN in the online business.
Efforts to reach the two companies for their reactions were not forthcoming as they fail to respond to messages.
The shareholders numbering over ten thousand across the country have called on Mr Brian to refund their money peacefully as they threaten to report the matter to EFCC, DSS and Police, to press home their demand.
Mr Brian, who has been in hiding for the past one week, was sighted in a Church belonging to Pastor Suleiman in Auchi, Edo state, on Sunday.
