Rivers young and brilliant personality,Dr Dawari George has added another feather to his cap as theThe Baptist World Alliance comprising all Baptists in the World has elected him the Head of the Men Department at Falls Church, Virginia, United States of America.
Dr Dawari George who was a former Member of the Rivers State Executive Council under Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and a former member of the National Assembly assumed office on Thursday, July 8, 2021 Virginia, USA, headquarters of the Baptist World Alliance.
Until his elevation, Dr George was the President of the All Africa Baptist Men Fellowship and had earlier served as President of the Men Missionary Union of the Nigerian Baptist Convention.
Dr George a fine breed politician from Buguma in Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State, is a respected personality who love young people and worked with children with whom he groomed to be God fearing.
Dr George was born and raised in a Christian home. His father was the late Rev Dr C. T. T. George a respected statesman, a pastor and educationist who served as Chairman of the Rivers State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Scholarship Board and Primary Schools Board among others.
