The Allied People’s Movement Candidate for Chairman, AMAC, Federal Capital Territory, Ambassador Bayero Shehu, says that inclusive government is key to ensuring good governance at all levels.
Ambassador Shehu, who gave this indication while speaking to newsmen in Abuja, stated that electorates should look out for credible people that are sincere, honest, humble and willing to render selfless service for humanity.
He said that financial status of individuals should not be a criteria for voting candidates into position of authority because all citizens have the right to vote and be voted for, and this is what his party stands for.
“Let us go back to inclusive government where credible people are voted for, basically to serve their community with or without money.
“I am a with the rural people, a grassroot politician, who relates with the common people in the society, market women, traders and drivers, these are the people who encouraged me to contest for AMAC Chairman.
Shehu decried the rate at which politicians are decamping from one party to the other, urging the National Assembly to take serious action on it so as to bring about credibility in the polity.
” The law is above everybody, whoever breaches it should be made to face the music whether in power or not.
According to him, this attitude often leads to confusion among the electorates, loss of identity and character.
