The Borno Chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has adopted the consensus option for election of party officials in the state.
The decision followed a motion for the adoption of consensus for the ward congresses by the state Deputy Governor,Umar Kadafur which was seconded by a party faithful,Abdu Musa during the party’s critical stakeholders meeting held on Tuesday in Maiduguri.
Subsequently, the motion was put to voice vote where all stakeholders unanimously adopted the consensus option
The State Governor,Babagana Zulum urged compliance of members with the party’s rules and regulations
The meeting was attended by prominent Party members including immediate past governor and serving Senator, Kashim Shetima, and Senator Ali Ndume, Chairman,Senate Committee on the Army
