The Federal Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, representing Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Comrade Ezekiel Dalhatu, has tasked the Gbagyi Media practitioners to focus more on investigative Journalism in promoting Peace and unity in the Territory.
The Commissioner, who made the call during a courtesy visit by Gbagyi Media Forum Nigeria, said investigative Journalism would go a long way to expose some challenges faced by the indigenes in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Dalhatu said there are communities facing infrastructural challenges ranging from lack of portable water, Healthcare facilities, Educational facilities and access to road networks, which have not been properly showcased in the media.

According to him, with the outbreak of cholera in FCT and other related illnesses, there is need for the Federal Capital Territory Administration to enhance healthcare service delivery and provide portable water to some communities in dire need.
Dalhatu said that, the Forum should work towards organising elections Debate in the forthcoming February 12, 2022, FCT Area Council Elections.
The Commissioner appealed to the indigenous media to be facial in their reportage to bring development and Progress to the Territory.
Responding, the Chairman of Gbagyi Media Forum, Nigeria, Mr Sunday Gbegbe, said the Forum came on a familiarisation visit to covey their congratulatory message to him on his recent appointment as Federal Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, representing Federal Capital Territory.
Mr Gbegbe said the Forum is looking forward to partnering with the Commission to further enhance collaboration to promote Peace and Unity among the natives and residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The highpoint of the visit was the presentation of Congratulatory letter to the Commissioner, Federal Public Complaints Commission by Gbagyi Media Forum, Nigeria.
